Yet another double header comes next at France and Hungary on the 24th and 31st of July, before the usual three week summer break, giving the teams and drivers a chance to cool down after the hectic first four months.įormula 1 returns to action at Belgium on 28th August with the Netherlands playing host to the Dutch Grand Prix on 4th September. The Silverstone event comes next in it’s usual early July slot on 3rd, while Austria follows a week later completing the seasons’ fourth double header.
The Monaco Grand Prix will complete the second double-header of the 2020 campaign on 29th May, with a big change in format: Thursday practice was dropped for a more traditional Friday.Īzerbaijan and Canada will complete the third double-header of the year on 12th and 19th June, as Montreal returns on the calendar for the first time since 2019. The brand-new Miami Grand Prix will take place two weeks later on 8th May with F1 moving back to Europe two weeks later for the Spanish Grand Prix on 22nd May.
The Bahrain event will take place on 20th March, after which the sport will remain in the Middle-East for the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix at the Jeddah circuit, just one week after the first Grand Prix.Īustralia has been confirmed for 10th April, before Formula 1 returns to Europe: the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix will be hosted by the Imola circuit on 24th. The 2022 Formula 1 campaign will kick off with the Bahrain Grand Prix, just like last year, for one of Formula 1’s many night races.
